Worcester, MA (July 4, 2018) – Police in Worcester responded to a hit and run accident on Tuesday afternoon. The hit and run took place in the 200 block of Pleasant Street and involved two vehicles. One vehicle left the scene of the crash before officers could arrive. The other vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. One person suffered injuries in the crash. The extent and severity of the injuries could not be immediately verified as of Wednesday.
Police are actively investigating this incident as they continue to search for the responsible driver. There is no word on the type of vehicle that they are looking for at this time. No other details surrounding the crash have been released.
