Hyannis, MA (June 28, 2018) – A man was struck by a car outside a grocery store in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Thursday. The incident took place just after 4:00 pm at BJ’s Wholesale Club according to Barnstable Fire Captain Richard Ogonowsky. Police and fire officials arrived on scene and found the man in the parking lot. He was transported to Cape Cod Hospital. There is no word on his condition but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police did not immediately release additional information. The cause of the accident is under review. No charges were filed against the driver in the aftermath of the crash but police have not said whether they intend to issue charges at a later date.
