Worcester, MA (June 26, 2018) – A pedestrian was hurt in a motor vehicle collision in Worcester on Monday, June 25th. Police report that a pedestrian was walking in the 1 block of Waverly Street on Monday morning at approximately 10:00 am. At that time, a vehicle traveling on Waverly struck the pedestrian. The crash resulted in injuries to the pedestrian.
Worcester police were called to the scene to investigate the accident. They have not released any information and the investigation is ongoing at this time. Police are expected to consider the location of the accident, such as whether the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk, whether the car properly yielded to the pedestrian and whether there were any witnesses to the crash.
