Vehicle accidents can take us off guard and happen out of nowhere. While not every car accident causes serious injury, some of them do and the consequences can be extreme. Drivers must remember they have a duty of care to the other people around them. We must all use caution and drive attentively when behind the wheel.
On June 1, the Boston Police Department received a report of a two-car accident that involved injury. The incident occurred on E Concord Street and was reported to police around 6:45 in the evening. Police and other first responders arrived on this scene shortly afterwards and secured the area. Officer Michael Coppinger was one of the first to respond to the accident.
Upon arrival, they administered care to the injured victim, and this person had to be transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, but no fatalities were reported. Their name has not been released at this time.
