Tuesday morning got off to a rough start in Sherewsbury, Massachusetts with a mutiple car accident. The accident occurred at Route 290, near Route 140. The incident happened very early in the morning, just after 1:00 am. Shrewsbury police officers came to the scene of the crash and discovered that the impact of the collision had caused one vehicle to roll over onto its side, pinning the driver inside momentarily.
Officers noted that the crash involved injuries. The extent of the injuries remains unknown at this time. The crash resulted in difficulty for motorists passing through the area, although because it occurred at an off-peak hour, the effect on traffic was not as great as it would have been otherwise.
