Haverhill, MA (June 29, 2018) – A woman in Haverhill, Massachsuetts suffered serious injuries after being struck by a pickup truck on Friday morning.  According to Haverhill police spokesman Stephen Doherty, the collision occurred at 7:07 am when the woman was walking north along 76 Merrimack Street.  At that time, she was  struck by the pickup truck.

The woman was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with critical injuries.  Upon arrival at Lawrence, she was then airlifted to a Boston hospital for additional treatment said Haverhill Fire Chief William F. Laliberty.  She is currently listed in stable condition.  As of 10:00 am, no criminal charges had been filed against the driver of the pickup, however, the crash remains under investigation.  It is not know if the woman was in a crosswalk when she was struck. No further information was immediately available.
