Car accidents can happen anywhere, even on uncrowded roads in sparsely populated areas. Some car accidents can cause severe injuries, and the impacts of these accidents can be long-lasting. On May 23, the Worcester Police Department received information about a hit-and-run accident. The accident involved minor injuries, but none of the injuries were reported to be serious or life-threatening. This incident occurred on the 1st block of Suffolk Street around 5 a.m. that morning. The accident involved two vehicles. However, one fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and administered care to the victim. After examining the damage to the vehicle and taking statements from the victim, the vehicle was removed from the flow of traffic. The search is ongoing for the other driver involved in this incident.
