Boston Police responded to many motor vehicle crashes with injury on Tuesday. One of those crashes took place just prior to 9:30 pm on Bowdoin Street. Officer Michael Russell was on routine patrol Tuesday night in the area of Bowdoin Street when he received a radio call for assistance to the scene. Officer Russell quickly responded to the call and headed to the accident. Once there, he discovered a victim suffering from injuries caused by the accident.
Medical personnel arrived to the scene shortly after police and treated the accident victim. The injuries sustained are not believed to be serious in nature or life-threatening. Boston police diverted traffic around the accident while their investigation remained active. Officers were on scene taking measurements and speaking with witnesses before clearing the roadway and allowing traffic flow to resume for the remainder of the evening.
