Massachusetts personal injury attorney car accidentAn injury accident was on Child Street was reported to Boston Police on Friday.  The accident report came in to police headquarters at around 4:20 pm.  This accident was one out of several that Boston police officers worked on Friday.  In total, Friday was a very busy day for Boston Police as they responded to more than 20 accidents and at least 9 of them involved personal injuries.  On the positive side, none of the accidents in our city are believed to have resulted in life-threatening injuries.

Officer Stphen Crimmins of the BPD responded to the Child Street Crash after receiving the call.  This crash did involve injuries to at least one person.  Officer Crimmins secured the scene and routed traffic around the accident while he spoke with the involved drivers, surveyed the damaged vehicles and completed his written traffic report.  Officer Crimmins, with the assistance of others, was able to clear the accident scene of debris and damaged vehicles.  After the scene was cleared, traffic resumed its normal flow in this area of the city.  No cause of the crash has been released by the Boston Police Department.

imagesIn an unfortunate report out of Boston, police there investigated a hit and run accident with injuries in the early morning hours Friday.  The crash report came in to police at approximately 1:15 an involved a hit and run occurring at 90 Southampton Street.

Police spoke with the driver who remained at the scene.  The driver reported to police that they had just been involved in a crash with another vehicle and that the other vehicle fled the scene.  The remaining driver did suffer injuries in the hit and run crash.  Police were attempting to apprehend the hit and run suspect but, at this time, there is no word on whether they have been located.  The driver who sustained injuries is expected to be ok as none of the injuries were life-threatening.

download-1A pedestrian suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Boston at around 3:30 pm Friday afternoon. The pedestrian was walking on Opera Place when they were hit by a car traveling in the area.  Boston police officer Peter Papasso responded to Opera Place and conducted an investigation on site.

Officer Papasso interviewed both the pedestrian and the vehicle operator in an effort to determine responsibility for the crash.  As of now, Boston police have not revealed whether the driver was charged in the pedestrian accident.  The pedestrian’s accident required medical treatment and emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.  Police have not provided further information regarding the injuries suffered by this pedestrian.

download-1-2A car accident with injuries was reported to the Boston Police Department on Friday morning at around 8:30 am.  Police were called to  Columbus Avenue in reference to an accident with injuries.   Officers arrived on scene and did find that injuries were sustained in this crash.  The crash is still under police investigation and there is no word on what may have caused it to occur.

Traffic on Columbus Avenue was slowed down temporarily as city residents made their way into work on Friday.  The officers on scene were able to clear away the accident in fairly short order, however, and traffic was able to return to normal at the scene shortly after 9:00 am.  All involved in the accident stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigating officers.

Hit-and-Run Accident on Green Hill ParkwayA crash involving serious injuries has been reported within the Boston city limits on Thursday.  The crash happened just before 10:00 pm on  Enneking Road at Turtle Pond Parkway.  This is located in the southwest portion of the city.  A team of officers from the Boston Police Department, along with medical personnel were radioed to the scene of the collision.  Once there, they encountered a multi vehicle crash with extensive damage to vehicles and serious injuries to those involved in the crash.  We do not have information at this time as to whether the injuries incurred were life-threatening.

The Boston police are still in the process of conducting a crash analysis in order to determine exactly how this serious accident occurred.  They are observing the scene and putting together a report with their conclusions regarding the accident.  While the investigation remains ongoing, they have not released any further details about the extent of the injuries or the drivers who were part of the crash.

injury-attorney-300x199Police officers in Boston have a thankless job.  They are busy each day responding to hundreds of calls for assistance all across our city, ranging from violent crimes, to theft, to citizen welfare and also car accidents.  Each day, officers see things that most people would never see in their daily lives, including the unfortunate job of having to encounter injury accidents.

One such injury accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Marginal Road in Boston.  Officer William Chen got to the scene of a crash at that location just before 10:00 am.  Officer Chen noted that a crash involving injuries had just occurred in the area.  All involved in the crash remained on scene and complied with the subsequent police investigation.  The injured received medical treatment as officers investigated the crash.  There is no word on the extent of injuries suffered or the cause of the crash.  This particular accident is still under investigation by Boston police.

eight people injuredBoston police responded to a handful of injury accidents involving motor vehicles on Wednesday evening.  One of those accidents took place on George Street in the Dudley Square neighborhood and just west of I-93.  This accident happened at 3:30 in the afternoon.   Officers were dispatched to the site as soon as the call came in.

Officer Michael Ennis of the BPD was the investigating officer for this crash.  Officer Ennis reports that there were injuries suffered in the accident.  However, at this time, we do not have any information regarding the nature of the injuries.  The accident scene remained blocked off for a period of time as officers completed their investigation and cleared the area for the resumption of vehicle traffic.  The identities of those involved in the crash have not been released.

download-1-2Washington Street in Boston was the site of an injury accident on Wednesday afternoon.  At 4:33 pm, Boston Police report receiving a call regarding a multiple vehicle crash with personal injury.  Officers on duty were dispatched to the accident scene shortly after receiving the call.  Upon arrival, they discovered that at least one person was injured as a result of the collision.

Upon discovering the injures, officers also requested medical assistance on scene.  EMS responded to provide aid and treatment was given at the accident site by emergency workers.  We do not believe at this time that the motorist’s injuries were life-threatening.  Officers did not identify those involved in the crash.  This accident remains under investigation with the Boston Police Department.

Two Injured in Crash on Bay RoadBoston Police are investigating a personal injury accident that occurred on Wednesday morning.  At 9:40 am, Officer Andrew Minichello with the Boston Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that took place on Cummins Highway.  Officer Minichello discovered a multiple vehicle accident with at least one person injured on scene.  Traffic was slowed at the accident scene as police worked to clear away debris and damaged vehicles.

Medical treatment was given to the injured victims on the scene.   We do not have any indication that life-threatening injuries were sustained.  We also do not have any indication as to the cause or sequence of events leading up to the crash.  Officer Minichello and other officers were able to clear the roadway and allow traffic on Cummins Highway to resume normal flow after a brief delay during the investigation stages.

Boston Police encountered multiple bicycle vs. vehicle accidents on Wednesday evening.  One such accident took place at 6:00 pm on Francis Parkman Drive.  Boston police officer John Keneally received a call regarding a bicyclist suffering from injuries following a crash with a vehicle at the accident location.  Officer Keneally headed towards the crash site along with medical personnel.   The bicyclist did receive medical attention from first responders on the scene.

Boston police have not revealed additional details surrounding the nature of this bicycle accident, including how the bicyclist was struck and whether the driver of the vehicle was at fault for the collision.   Police did not immediately issue any charges in connection with the crash.  At this time, we do not believe that the accident caused any life-threatening injuries.
