While driving, we must all remember the damage that a car can do when it is involved in an accident. Cars are a useful invention, and, thankfully, most accidents do not result in injury. But, when severe accidents happen, they can cause serious injuries that are detrimental and have long-lasting impacts. We must all remain vigilant when we are behind the wheel to reduce the likelihood of an accident happening.
On May 28, the Worcester Police Department received a report of a vehicle accident that involved personal injury. The call came into the police around 9 in the morning, and emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly afterwards. The accident occurred at the 600 block of Grafton Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency personnel found that one person had sustained injuries and medical care was administered to this individual at the scene. The area was secured, and traffic directed around the street. The extent of the injuries involved is still being determined.
