Vehicle accidents can happen suddenly, and accidents that involve pedestrians can be especially traumatic. Pedestrians are not protected by helmets or seatbelts, and the injuries they sustain tend to be serious. All drivers must do their part to look out for pedestrians, and pedestrians must also use caution when walking along streets.
On May 31, the Boston Police Department received information about a pedestrian accident involving a moving vehicle. The accident involved minor injuries to the pedestrians, and medical aid was given to this person at the scene. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
