Worcester, MA – Injury Crash Reported in 100 Block of Moreland Street

Worcester, MA (July 14, 2018) – Worcester Police were called to the scene of multiple injury accidents on Thursday evening, including one that took place in the 100 block of Moreland Street. The accident took place at around 7:00 pm. Police on scene reported that multiple vehicles were involved in this accident. Unfortunately, injuries were also associated with the crash, although the extent of injuries is not known at this time.

Boston, MA – Injury Crash Reported on Harrison Avenue

Boston, MA (July 14, 2018) – Police in Boston responded to a vehicle crash Thursday morning on Harrison Avenue. A call was received around 5:50 am requesting police response to the scene for an accident involving injuries. Boston police officer Thomas Antonino was quickly dispatched to the crash scene. Officer Antonino arrived on Harrison Avenue and began a crash investigation. He discovered at least one person suffering from injuries inflicted in the accident and called for EMS to respond as well.

The injured victim was evaluated and treated on scene. No word on their condition or identity at this time. The Boston police have marked this accident for additional investigation and have not released a cause for the crash.

Boston, MA – Pedestrian Struck, Injured in Accident on Clarkwood Street

Boston, MA (July 14, 2018) – A pedestrian in Boston was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday. The pedestrian was struck while walking on Clarkwood Street at 4:50 pm when they were hit by a car also traveling on the same roadway. Police on scene report that the pedestrian was injured as a result of the collision but have not confirmed whether the pedestrian suffered any serious or life-threatening injuries.

Following the crash, the vehicle driver remained on scene and cooperated with the police investigation into the crash. It is not known whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or other marked area when the crash occurred or whether the vehicle driver will face charges for causing the accident. Boston, MA – Police Respond to Injury Crash on Washington Street

Boston, MA (July 14, 2018) – An accident on Washington Street had Boston police busy Wednesday morning. The call was received by police just after 8:00 am and referenced an accident with injuries occurring in the area. As officers arrived, they confirmed the details of the call as they discovered a car accident with personal injuries.

Officers quickly blocked the area in an around the crash. They began an investigation and took statements from witnesses while attempting to determine a cause for the collision. As of this time, officers have not publicly released a statement regarding a cause of the crash. The crash is still under investigation by the BPD. The extent of injuries is not known at this time.

As police were working the accident scene, traffic slowed in the area around Washington Street. Motorists had to be temporarily re-routed around the crash and some delays were reported in the area while the investigation remained active. Traffic returned to normal after officers cleared the scene.

Boston, MA – Accident on Atherton Street Injures One

Boston, MA (June 30, 2018) – Boston police responded to many car accident scenes on Wednesday. One of the earliest calls came in to police at 7:26 am regarding a multiple car crash with injuries. Police believe that the crash occurred just prior and that they received the a few minutes later. Officer Patrick Abrahamson was working routine patrol on Wednesday morning and responded to the crash report.

Officer Abrahamson, along with fire and rescue personnel, discovered that one person was injured in the crash. Medical treatment was offered and accepted on scene. The extent of injuries is not currently known. The accident investigation remains ongoing under Boston police case number 182054122.

Salem, MA – Hit and Run Crash Reported in 400 Block of Highland Avenue

Salem, MA (July 14, 2018) – A two car hit and run accident took place in Salem, Massachusetts on Friday and resulted in injuries to at least one driver. The accident happened at 1:57 pm in the 400 block of Highland Avenue. Salem Police responded to the scene and began investigating the crash.

When police arrived, they discovered a two car crash had just occurred at this location. Unfortunately, only one of the drivers remained on scene to speak with police and assist in their investigation as the other driver quickly fled the scene of the collision prior to officers’ arrival. Salem police have not said how the accident occurred, or which driver was at fault for the crash. One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No word at this time on the identity of the drivers at this time. The accident is pending further investigation and charges are expected to be filed once the hit and run driver can be apprehended.

Lynn, MA – Injury Accident at 525 Lynnway

Lynn, MA (July 14, 2018) – Police in Lynn responded to the Gulf Express at 525 Lynnway in reference to a motor vehicle crash on Thursday. The initial call requesting officer assistance was received at police headquarters at 9:07 am. The caller referenced a crash with injuries at the location. A police unit, along with fire and EMS were dispatched to the accident scene. Unfortunately, at least one person was injured in the crash though details of the injuries are limited.

Police remained on scene for a period of time clearing the road and conducting their crash investigation. Although an investigation was conducted, the results have not yet been released and there is no word on the cause of the collision or whether any citations were issued in the crash. No additional details regarding the crash are available at this time.

Sandwich, MA – Rollover Crash on Route 6 Injures One

Sandwich, MA (July 14, 2018) – A Thursday afternoon rollover crash in Sandwich left one person injured. The crash took place just before noon, near exits 3 and 4. Sandwich police, along with the Sandwich Fire Department and EMS responded quickly to the crash site, according to emergency broadcast reports. There were two cars involved in this crash. There is no word as of Saturday morning on what might have caused the vehicles to collide with one another.

One person was transported by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment of their injuries. There is no word on the condition of the injured victims or the extent of injuries sustained. Police are still investigating and there are no additional details available at this time.

Milford, MA – Woman Celebrating Her Birthday Dies in Friday Morning Crash

Milford, MA (July 14, 2018) – A woman in Milford celebrating her birthday was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 early Friday morning. 22 year old Stephanie Boaventura was traveling in a 2010 Toyota Corolla when, for an unknown reason, her car left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, she attempted to correct the car’s path back onto the road. In the process, her car veered to the left and struck a guardrail.

Police, along with ambulance units, rushed to the crash scene upon receiving reports of a serious accident with injuries. Boaventura was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. She had been out with friends celebrating her 22nd birthday and was on her way home when the crash occurred.

Police are looking into the accident at this time. As of Saturday, there is no word on the cause of the collision or what may have caused Boaventura to lose control of her vehicle.

Concord, MA – Crash On Route 2 Eastbound

Concord, MA (July 13, 2018) – A two car crash was reported in Concord on Friday morning. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Route 2 and took place just after 9:00 am, at the end of the morning rush hour. Police were called to the scene in reference to an accident involving multiple vehicles. Upon arrival, police discovered that the crash did involve multiple vehicles and that injuries had also occurred as a result of the accident.

A medical team, along with police and fire department officials responded to the accident. The injured victims received treatment at the scene and were later transported by ambulance to area hospitals. Police in Concord have not released information on the victims at this time, including their names or the nature and extent of their injuries.

Traffic in the area was heavily affected by this crash and was backed up for several miles while police worked to clear the accident scene. Residual delays were experienced after the scene was clear.
