Miller was transported to a nearby hospital with head and neck injuries, and a passenger in his vehicle was also taken to the hospital to be treated for head and neck injuries.

Upon arrival, they found that a 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer being driven by Raymond Lemon of Ware was southbound on Route 1 when it ran into a 2015 Ford Focus. The Focus was driven by Megan Horne who was attempting to make a left turn. The crash then pushed the car into the oncoming lane where it was struck by a 2015 Toyota being driven by Betty J. Yock.  


Horne suffered back and neck injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Yock was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

One Man Killed, One Woman Injured in Collision in Wilbraham

According to internal reports, Dorchester resident was involved in the accident, and her daughter had been struck by a motor vehicle which failed to stop after the incident. The woman told police that the driver paused for a second or two before driving away.

On June 3, Massachusetts State Police responded to a vehicle accident that involved a car and a parked tow truck. Troopers responded to the scene on Interstate 95 southbound in Attleboro around 2 in the morning. Upon arrival, they discovered that Michael Avelar, of Stoughton, had been severely injured, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tow truck had been killed by a police officer to remove a disabled vehicle from the highways. No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. Fire and police authorities cleared the scene within the hour.
