Vehicle Accident with Injury on I-95
On June 3, a popular restaurant in Peabody was closed after an SUV crashed into it. Police in the area were called to the scene of the accident, and they dispatched emergency crews to the scene soon after hearing the news.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered that a driver accidentally backed into the front of the restaurant. At least five customers were inside at the time of the crash, and one individual sustained injuries in the accident. EMTs administer medical care to this individual at the scene, but the extent of the injuries is unknown.

According to initial reports, a 63-year-old woman was behind the wheel and hit the gas instead of the breaks, causing the accident. The owner of the restaurant says it will remain closed until the mess is cleared.

Accident with Injury on Exit 1 on Route 95
On June 13, a car accident was reported to Massachusetts State Police. The incident was reported to police around 3:45 in the afternoon, and emergency responders were sent to the scene quickly after receiving notification of the collision. The accident occurred on Route 128 southbound and Route 93 northbound at Exit 1.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found that one individual had suffered from injuries because of the accident. This individual was given emergency medical care at the scene from EMTs, but the extent of their injuries is still under review, and no fatalities were reported. The scene was cleared within the hour, and traffic was able to resume as normal. Names of those involved have not yet been disclosed.

Pedestrian Accident on American Legion Highway
The Boston Police Department received information about a pedestrian-vehicle accident on June 13. The accident occurred around 9:30 at night, and emergency responders were dispatched and arrived quickly at the scene.

Once arriving at the accident, first responders discovered that one pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. This individual suffered injuries because of the accident, and they were given medical care by EMTs. The extent of their injuries is still being determined. No fatalities were reported, and the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. 

Officer Michael Sullivan was one of the first to arrive at the scene, and he took statements from those involved as well as witnesses. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene at 72 American Legion Highway. This accident remains under investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision and the liability of those involved. 

Vehicle Accident on Exit 26
On June 13, a car accident in Boston was reported to Massachusetts State Police. Police were alerted to this accident around 3:50 in the afternoon, and fire and police were dispatched to the scene and arrived quickly after receiving news of the incident.

The accident occurred at Route 95 northbound at Exit 26. Upon arriving at the scene, it was discovered that one individual had sustained injuries in the crash, and medical responders give care to this person at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still under review. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and no fatalities were reported. Statements were taken from those involved and witnesses, and the accident is still being investigated by police at this time.

Car Accident on Route 495 Southbound
On June 14, Massachusetts State Police responded to a vehicle crash after they received a report of the incident. The accident occurred on Route 495 southbound to Route 90 in Hopkinton. The incident was reported to officials around noon, and emergency response crews were sent to the scene and arrived swiftly.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the accident had impacted traffic, and they closed part of the road due to the spillage of material from the vehicles on the ramp. There were traffic delays as a result of the crash. One individual sustained injuries, and they were given medical care at the scene, but there were no fatalities reported, and the extent of the injuries is still being determined. As of posting, the injuries do not appear to have been life-threatening. After the spill was cleaned up and the accident cleared, the flow of traffic resumed as normal.

Accident at Exit 22 in Worcester
On June 13, Massachusetts State police received a report of an accident that involved multiple vehicles. The accident was reported to police around 2:10 in the morning, and emergency responders including police and fire authorities were dispatched to the scene soon afterwards.

Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered that two vehicles had been involved in the accident. Some of the individuals involved in the crash were injured, and they were given medical care at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still under review, and the names of the victims have not been released yet. No fatalities were reported.

The accident occurred on the ramp to I-90 at exit 22. Police were able to direct traffic around the area and clear the crash within an hour.

On June 13, a car accident involving two vehicles was reported to the Boston Police Department. The accident was called into the police around 6:10 in the evening, and emergency crews were sent to the scene shortly afterward. Officer Maria King was one of the first to arrive and secure the scene but was soon joined as other emergency authorities arrived to provide support.

The accident occurred at Harvard Street. Upon arrival at the accident, first responders discovered that several of the individuals involved in the accident had been injured, and medical care was given to these individuals at the scene by EMTs. The extent of their injuries is still being determined, but no fatalities were reported. Statements were taken at the scene from those involved as well as witnesses, and the accident remains under investigation. As of posting, the names of those involved has not been released to the public.

Car Accident on Route 6 Sends Two to Hospital
On June 12, a vehicle accident was reported to the police in Eastham. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene quickly after receiving news of the crash around three in the afternoon. The car involved two vehicles, and rescue workers evaluated five people who were involved in the crash. The collision occurred on Route 6 south of Nauset Road.

Two people were brought to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were considered not life-threatening according to Fire Department Captain William Sprague. Traffic in the southbound lanes of the highway was temporarily reduced to one lane due to the accident, but the scene was cleared within the hour. No fatalities were reported. The names of those involved in the accident have not been released at this time.

Mattapoisett Police Responder to Three-Vehicle Crash
On June 12, Mattapoisett Police responded to a three-car crash that was reported to police around 10:52 in the morning. The accident was reported to be severe, and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene quickly after hearing the news of the incident.

First units on the scene found a Mazda SUV on its roof. Officers on scene were advised that two other vehicles were involved. Boston MedFlight was dispatched but was later canceled because of the extended response time. The driver of the Mazda was extracted from the vehicle and transported to Rhode Island Trauma Center.

The occupants of the second and third vehicle sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and they were transported to Tobey Hospital to receive care. The accident still remains under investigation by Mattapoisett Police.

Motorcycle Crash in Chelmsford Injures One
On June 12, emergency workers responded to the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle. The accident occurred in Chelmsford, near the intersection of Golden Cove Road and Boyd’s Lane.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the area shortly after hearing of the accident around 6 in the evening. According to police, one motorcyclist was hurt when the motorcycle collided with another vehicle. The injured individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Initial reports do not verify if the motorcycle or the other vehicle was responsible for the collision. Traffic was redirected with backups due to rush hour. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and the victim’s injuries appear to not be life-threatening.
