Barrington head o collision deathTruro, MA (June 27, 2018) – A two vehicle crash in Truro, Massachusetts sent two people to the hospital with injuries on Tuesday afternoon.  The crash took place at Shore Road and Standish Way and involved a Honda Accord and a Range Rover.  It appears that the two vehicles collided head on with one another, however, it is not known which driver was responsible for the collision.  Both drivers were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries.  Truro police are investigating the accident.   Along with police, both EMS and fire units responded to the scene to assist with providing medical treatment and clearing away the accident.  Police have not stated whether they expect to issue any charges as a result of this crash.

Accident on Washington StreetNeedham, MA (June 26, 2018) – A midday accident was reported in Needham, Massachusetts on Tuesday.  The crash took place around 11:00 am on Route 128 near Exit 19 B/C.  Multiple vehicles were involved in this crash.  Police in Needham responded to the scene and assessed the injuries to those involved.  Medical personnel were summoned to the accident scene to provide care to the injured.  There is no word on the condition of the victims. Police did not immediately identify the drivers.

Heavy delays were reported at the crash scene while it was in the clearing stages.  Fortunately, police were able to clear the accident relatively quickly and the roadway was re-opened within an hour of the crash.  No word on whether charges are expected to come from the crash.

images-6Norwood, MA (June 26, 2018) – A vehicle accident has been reported to police in Norwood, Massachsetts on Tuesday afternoon.  The crash occurred just after 11 am along Route 1 at Morse Street.  Multiple cars are involved in this crash.  Police and emergency officials are actively working the scene at this time.  Unfortunately, serious injuries were sustained in this collision but there is no further clarification regarding the nature or extent of the injuries at this time.  The injured were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Motorists along the route experienced heavy delays approaching the accident.  Police are working to investigate the accident and clear the scene but there is no word on when the roadway is expected to re-open.  No further details are immediately available.  Our thoughts are with those injured in this serious accident.

images-1-3Marstons Mills, MA (June 26, 2018) – A crash in Marstons Mills, Massachusetts sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries this morning.  Police were called to the intersection Santuit-Newton Road and School Street upon report of a two vehicle accident in the area.  Upon arrival, they discovered two badly damaged vehicles in the roadway.  Nearby residents came from their houses to help free the trapped drivers.

Rescue workers took over at the accident scene and administered emergency medical treatment to both drivers. Both were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries. It is not known if the injuries are life-threatening.  Police have not released complete details surrounding the crash, but they have said that both vehicles collided with each other at a high rate of speed.  The accident is pending further investigation and there is no word if charges will be filed.

Vehicle and Bicycle Accident on Washington StreetWest Wareham, MA (June 26, 2018) – An accident in West Wareham, Massachusetts involving a police officer and a bicyclist occurred on Tuesday morning near the Cranberry Highway.  A trooper with the Massachusetts State Police was operating in an unmarked cruiser when a bicyclist collided with his patrol vehicle.  The bicyclist sustained injuries in the crash and was transported by Wareham EMS units to Tobey Hospital for treatment of injuries.  The bicyclist’s injuries are not life-threatening.

The crash and its cause are still under as of Tuesday afternoon.   There is no word on the cause.  At this time, there is no further information available.

Injury Accident on Leyden StreetWorcester, MA (June 26, 2018) – Monday got off to a rough start in Worcester with an injury accident reported to police in the early morning hours.  The accident, which took place in the 1 block of Wachusett Street, was reported to authorities around 2:00 am.  After a busy weekend in Worcester, this accident continued the trend of injury accident occurring across the city.

Police arrived on scene at Wachusett to find that, unfortunately, those involved had sustained injuries, although the extent of injuries remains unknown at this time.  Worcester police are continuing to investigate this accident under department case number 2018000069056.  We will bring you additional information should any become available.

download-5-1Worcester, MA (June 26, 2018) – A pedestrian was hurt in a motor vehicle collision in Worcester on Monday, June 25th.  Police report that a pedestrian was walking in the 1 block of Waverly Street on Monday morning at approximately 10:00 am.  At that time, a vehicle traveling on Waverly struck the pedestrian.  The crash resulted in injuries to the pedestrian.

Worcester police were called to the scene to investigate the accident.  They have not released any information and the investigation is ongoing at this time.  Police are expected to consider the location of the accident, such as whether the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk, whether the car properly yielded to the pedestrian and whether there were any witnesses to the crash.  All of these factors will be crucial in the police investigation and, ultimately, the legal responsibility for those involved in the accident.  There is no word at this time on whether charges will be issued.

download-4-3Worcester, MA (June 26, 2018) – Worcester police stayed busy on Monday afternoon responding to a rash of injury accidents across the city.  This continues an unfortunate trend of accidents which began over the weekend and has spilled into the beginning of the week.

On Monday, June 25th at around 11:00 am police received a call concerning a possible accident with injuries in in the 1 block of Madison Street.  Several officers responded to the scene in reference to the call.  Once they arrived, they located a crash with injuries, as described by the caller.  The cause of the crash is unknown.   EMS also responded to the scene in order to treat the injured victims.  Information regarding the severity of injuries has not been given by police.  The crash is still under investigation at this time.

Car Accident on Route 495 SouthboundWorcester, MA (June 26, 2018) – Police in Worcester, Massachusetts received a report of an accident involving injuries on Monday afternoon.  The call came in to police around 1:00 pm with details of a multiple vehicle accident with injuries in the 200 block of Chandler Street.  After receiving the call, Worcester police officers responded to the scene of the accident.  When they arrived, officers verified that at least one driver had been injured in this crash.  As a result of the injuries, medical personnel also arrived on the scene to administer treatment.

There is no word at this time on the severity of the injuries sustained or whether the injured victims were transported to a hospital to receive treatment.  As any further details are made available, we will bring them to you.  The cause of this crash is still under investigation by the Worcester police department.

images-1North Attleborough, MA (June 26, 2018) – A Tuesday morning crash in North Attleborough caused major problems for motorists along I-295, near exit 2. The crash was reported to police just after 7:00 am, involving multiple vehicles in the left travel lane of the highway.  Police were on scene along with medical personnel to provide aid to the victims.  Unfortunately, there are reports of injuries coming out of this crash.

Police have not identified those involved in the crash or provided any updates on the condition of injured victims.  We will continue to monitor this story and provide you with any additional information that we should receive coming from the scene.

Traffic slowed down to a crawl around the accident site as at least one lane was blocked while the crash was cleared away by police.  Motorists were forced to detour around the left hand travel lanes to get to their destinations.
