When driving on back roads or suburban neighborhoods, it can be easy to think that you are safe from accidents. This is not the case as car accidents can happen anywhere. Driving negligently can have dire consequences, and drivers who cause an accident and then flee the scene are acting criminally. Hit-and-run drivers could be leaving victims behind who are in need of medical attention.
