Accidents happen on our streets and highways for a variety of reasons. Usually, however, an accident happens because some sort of traffic law is broken. The other driver may be speeding, texting while driving, driving under the influence or, as in this case, failing to yield to other vehicles on the road. Every year, many people all across the country are killed or seriously injured by vehicles which fail to properly stop at stop lights or stop signs. Fortunately, in this case, all of those involved were able to escape with non life-threatening injuries.
