On May 29, Massachusetts State Police received information about a vehicle accident with injury. The call came through to police around 9:30 a.m., and they arrived on the scene with other emergency responders shortly afterwards. Upon arriving at the scene on US-1 Southbound at Salem Street, they found at least one individual had sustained injuries. Emergency medical care was administered at the scene, and the area was secured.
The extent of the injuries is still under review, however, no fatalities were reported. The scene was cleared by noon.
