2 Convicted of Killing Couple in Orange
The man and woman who robbed and then murdered an Orange couple during a home invasion have been sentenced.
Joshua Hary and Brittany Smith have been found guilty of first degree murder.
They were charged in connection with the killing of Thomas Hartley, 95, and Joanna Fisher, 77. They killed them inside their East River Street home in October 2016.

State Police Investigate Crash in Swansea
This is an update on a story we posted on earlier this week.
The operator of a 2003 Jeep Liberty died when his vehicle hit another vehicle has been identified. He has been tentatively identified as John Souza, 38, from Cranston, Rhode Island.
This incident occurred on May 10 at around 2:10 in the morning.

Man from Brockton Charged with Vehicular Homicide
A man from Brockton is facing charges of motor vehicle homicide eight months after he killed a motorcyclist.
Kevin G. Element, 32, was indicted on counts of homicide by motor vehicle while under the influences of liquor as well as many other charges.
He was indicted in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in Brockton on September 4. This accident claimed the life of Sean Colwell, 30.

Update: One Dies in Swansea Crash
More details are now known about the accident in Swansea that caused the death of one person.
The victim was a 38-year-old man from Cranston, Rhode Island. The jeep he was driving in became completely engulfed in flames because of the accident.
Troopers responded to the crash at around 2 in the morning. It is not known at this time if the driver who caused the accident was injured.
Fatal Rollover Occurs in Swansea
A 38-year-old man is dead after a crash that occurred on I-195.
The Massachusetts State Police say that a 2012 Volkswagen was going easy, when the driver, a 40-year-old woman, lost control. She crossed the median and struck a vehicle that was going west.
The other vehicle was a 2003 Jeep Liberty. It rolled over and became engulfed in flames with the driver still inside. The driver has not been identified because his family has not been notified.
2 Women Charged in Connection to Found Burned Body
Two women are facing charges connected to the death of a man. The man’s burned body was found in an empty field. Alondra Gil and Mercedes Diaz-Wright, both 22, have been arraigned on charges including perjury.
The women allegedly misled police officers.
The body of the man, Daniel Cruz, 44, was round in a field in March.
