Chelsea, MA – Two Car Crash with Injuries

Chelsea, MA (June 26, 2018) – A two car crash occurred in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Tuesday morning, leaving at least one of the victims injured. The crash happened just prior to 6:00 am on Revere Beach Parkway, just before Union Street. That is where police report that two vehicles traveling on Route 16 collided with one another. Boston, MA – Several Injuries in Multiple Vehicle Crash

Boston, MA (June 26, 2018) – Several injuries were reported to Massachusetts State Police in a three car accident that took place Monday on I-93. The crash occurred just prior to 3:00 pm in the southbound lanes of the highway prior to exit 24. In all, five cars were involved in the crash.

Boston police say that a 27 year old from Lowell, and his 29 year old passenger in a 2011 Kia Sportage were transported to Tufts Medical Center. Additionally, a 27 year old New Jersey woman in an Audi A3 was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. None of the others involved in the accident were injured.

State Police Sergeant Sullivan said that the accident is still under investigation by their agency. Sullivan did not provide a cause for the crash or an update on the injured victims. The crash was cleared and the roadway was opened back to motorists by 5:00 pm.

Chelmsford, MA – Motorcycle Crash Injures Two

Chelmsford, MA (June 26, 2018) – A motorcycle accident on I-495 Monday injured two people in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The accident took place just north of Route 3. Police arrived on scene to find two people injured in the accident. Their injuries are described by authorities as serious. Both injured victims received treatment on the scene before being transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. A medical helicopter transported at least one of the victims.

The seriousness of the wreck caused major slowdowns for traffic in the area. Both sides of I-495 were closed while the wreck was investigated and cleared by authorities. As a result, delays extended for miles from the accident scene. The roadway was finally re-opened around 5:00 pm.

There is no word on the condition of the injured victims and it is not known if any life-threatening injuries were suffered in this accident. Chelmsford police continue to investigate.

Boxford, MA – Three Injured When Car Strikes Tree

Boxford, MA (June 25, 2018) – Three people, including two children, were seriously injured on Monday morning in Boxford Massachusetts. The crash happened along Route 97. The weather at the time was rainy and the roadway was wet. Police say that a female driver and two children were traveling on Route 97 in a small compact vehicle when the vehicle departed the roadway and struck a tree off the right side of the road.

Boxford police and medical personnel responded to the scene of the collision. All three accident victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The injuries are classified at this time as being serious in nature, however, there is no word on whether they are considered life-threatening. Police did not identify either the female driver or the children involved in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.

Plymouth, MA – Teen Hit in Crosswalk

Plymouth, MA (June 25, 2018) – A teen was struck while walking at a crosswalk in downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts on Monday afternoon. The boy was walking at Main Street near Middle Street in a marked crosswalk area when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Plymouth police officers and emergency medical officials quickly arrived at the scene to tend to the 16 year old victim and treat his injuries.

The injuries sustained by the victim are not considered life-threatening, according to authorities. The boy was transported to South Shore Hospital to receive treatment. Police report that the boy was wearing earbuds when he was struck in the crosswalk. However, officers did the charge the motor vehicle operator, a 61 year old man from Plymouth, with failure to yield to a pedestrian. No further information was released.

Hyannis, MA – Crash Leaves One Person Seriously Injured

Hyannis, MA (June 25, 2018) – A crash in Hyannis, Massachusetts left one person seriously injured on Monday afternoon. The crash happened along Iyannough Road, near local restaurant known as Friendly’s. Barnstable Police responded to the collision to investigate. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that one of the crash victims had suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The injured victim was rushed to nearby Cape Cod Hospital with what is being described as a head injury. Barnstable Police are continuing to investigate the crash as of Monday evening. The crash occurred after 2:00 pm and shut down both sides of the highway while officers worked at the scene. All lanes were re-opened by around 5:00 pm, in time for the rush hour commute.

The southbound lanes of the highway had to be blocked for a medical helicopter to land at the scene and transport injured victims to a nearby hospital. At least one person has injuries which were classified by authorities as serious injuries. There is no word at this time on the extent or severity of the injuries sustained. Accident Reported on Green Street

An accident involving multiple vehicles was reported to Worcester police on Sunday afternoon around 3:00 pm. The accident report came from the 100 block of Green Street, near the center of the city. Police responded to the call and arrived on scene shortly after it came in. Upon arriving, they discovered that all involved remained on scene to discuss the accident with officers. They also discovered that at least one person had suffered injuries in the crash. Medical technicians arrived to treat the injured victim.
