Wednesday’s police logs out of Lynn report another morning car accident. Blossom Street, Lynn, Massachusetts car accident

The collision occurred yesterday, Tuesday April 17th at about 10 a.m. on Blossom Street

Police have not released the identity of the drivers, or whether injuries were sustained.

This morning, around 8:30 a.m., a big rig plowed through a red light intersection causing a multi-vehicle accident. The driver was trying to make a left turn, but ignored the red light and collided into traffic entering the intersection on the southbound Route 140. Mansfield multi-car collision

Mansfield Police report the incident occurred at Route 106 and Route 140. Injuries were minimized by the use of seat belts and properly deploying air bag systems.

The southbound lanes of Route 140 were closed to traffic. Traffic was prevented from entering the Foxborough area between West Street and Cabot Blvd. Traffic was also blocked off from Route 106 through Giles Place.

A total of three cars were involved in the accident and all were removed from the scene by a tow truck.

A male was transported to Cape Code Hospital on Tuesday evening because he sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident. The West Barnstable Fire Barnstable multi-vehicle collision injuryDepartment reports that the side-swipe accident included a Massachusetts State Police patrol car.

First responders were dispatched at nearly 7 p.m. to Route 149 near Osterville-West Barnstable Road. Firefighters had to use their equipment to remove the driver from the car who was then transported for medical treatment.

There were other individuals who sustained injuries, but were not transported to the hospital.

On Monday, Brockton Fire reported to a home kitchen fire. Several firefighters were on scene in the early afternoon. Brockton kitchen fire injuries

The fire charred most of the cabinetry and part of the exhaust fan over the stove. The home was located on Vine Street.

Brockton fire reports that the female occupant refused treatment for her injuries. There is no further information at this time as to the cause of the kitchen fire.

At about 2:30 p.m., yesterday Brockton police and fire responded to a call on Belmont StreetBrockton toddler injured in pedestrian accident

Upon arrival they discovered that a 2-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle.

The boy’s injuries required an ambulance to arrive on scene to transport him due to his injuries.

There are no further details at this time.

Shortly after midnight today, Bourne Barracks officers with the State Police were dispatched to a car accident on Route 195 East in Mattapoisett to discover that the driver died in the accident. Single-Car collision fatality Mattapoisett

The driver of the 2013 Toyota Camry was a nearly 40-year-old female resident of Bourne. Law enforcement officers have pieced together that she veered to the left toward the median and ran into a tree. There were no other passengers in the vehicle. Officials have not yet released her identity.

What caused the woman to veer off and crash is still unknown. The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section, Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office investigators, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be looking further into the cause.

This evening, a 3-year-old Woburn boy was submerged underwater in a swimming pool and lost his life. Woburn law enforcement officials were dispatched to the boy’s home on Marlbourough Road close to 5:00 p.m. in response to a 911 report about a child that could not be located. Woburn Boy Drowns

When the officers arrived at the home, they learned the boy had been missing for over an hour. When the police entered the property, the boy’s body was located in the swimming pool behind the house. There was nothing on top of the pool, and it contained foliage but was not full to the top with water.

The toddler was not conscious when retrieved from the pool. He was immediately transported to Burlington’s Lahey Hospital where he was officially declared dead at 9 p.m due to drowning.

According to the Massachusetts State Police and Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the boy was likely in the pool for quite some time. Due to the toddler’s age, his identity will remain private. There is an ongoing investigation.

The incident involved a 2011 BMW, whose driver was a female resident of Belmont. The female driver hit a man on a bicycle; the man was also a Belmont resident. His left leg sustained injuries in the accident.

According to the victim, the woman driving the BMW did not stop for him while she was trying to turn left toward Langdon Avenue. She ran into him as she was driving on Belmont Street. The man was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital. The woman states the man was not visible to her when she attempted her turn in Watertown.

The recent rain created slippery highways today, especially on I-395 in for Don Vincent this evening. The man, in his 40s, is now in the hospital after obtaining injuries in a single-vehicle car accident after ramming into a tree. Hydroplanning hospitalizes Worcester man

The Worcester man, from Whisper Drive, was operating his 2015 Cadillac CTS northbound. The slippery roads caused his vehicle to veer off the road near Exit 41.

The accident caused an intense chain of events, where his vehicle veered off into the area immediately beyond the exit sign. The vehicle then went down a hill, traversing the vegetation and ending up hitting a tree. He was taken to Putnam’s Day Kimball Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
