Update: Police Investigate Crash in Rehoboth

Rehoboth and Massachusetts State Police are looking into a single-car crash that happened on Friday morning. This accident claimed the life of the driver. The accident occurred at Fall River Avenue in Rehoboth Massachusetts.

Police and fire departments responded at around 1:25 in the morning.

2 Firefighters Hurt in Chelsea Blaze

On May 3, fire officials are still investigating a large fire that injured two firefighters and displaced over dozen people. The fire happened at a three-story apartment building Chelsea, Massachusetts on Wednesday.

The fire started at around 3:30 in the afternoon at 10 John Street and spread quickly.

Footage from the air showed flames and smoke were pouring from the roof.

A fire broke out overnight at a Tasty Burger located in South Boston. The fire caused about $150,000 in damages. This information comes from fire officials.

According to firefighters, no one was hurt in the blaze.

Crews Fight Fire in Dracut

On May 3, crews were on the scene of a fire that happened in Dracut, Massachusetts.

The people in the home where the fire occurred were not injured. Two people who were in the home noticed smoke was coming from an electrical panel.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries while fighting the blaze.

Woman Injured in Framingham After Being Hit by Car

Farmington police have said that a woman was walking on Waverly street near the Ashland town line when she was struck by a vehicle on Thursday. The woman hasn’t been identified yet but is believed to be around 50 years old. This incident occurred at around 8:30 at night.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating.

The woman had to be transported to MetroWest Medical Center with serious injuries. The nature of her injuries is not known at this time.

3 Dead in Armored Truck Collision

On May 3, police say three people died in a collision that occurred between a car and an armored truck that is used to move cash.

Plainfield Police Chief Paul Roberts said that three people were in a four-door sedan. They all died in a collision with the truck. This occurred on Route 12A near a railroad crossing. The police also say that it appears the northbound sedan crossed the line and put themselves in the path of the truck.

The condition of the two people in the armored truck wasn’t known.

Victim of Orange Fire Has Been Identified

On May 2, the identity of a woman killed in a fire in Oran was released. The fire happened on Monday.

The woman who died was Jane Peterson, 79-years-old.

On Monday night, firefighting crews were called to a mobile home at 38 Glenwood Avenue after a neighbor reported the fire.

1 Killed in Rehoboth Crash

Authorities are looking into a crash that killed one person early in the morning of May 4 in Rehoboth. The fiery crash occurred on Fall River Avenue at around 1:25 in the morning.

The initial investigation has determined that a vehicle was going eastbound and went through the parking lot of a business and hit into a parked tractor-trailer. This caused both of the vehicles to burst into flames. This information comes from the Rehoboth police.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. There were not any other injuries.

1 Injured in Rollover Crash on UMass Campus

On May 4, at least one person was severely injured in a rollover crash that happened early in the day at the campus of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 in the morning on East Campus Road. This road has a speed limit of 15 mph.

A witness said that the car was flying down the road.
