Police and fire units responded and administered care to the victims at the scene. While injuries were reported, the extent of these injuries has not yet been released to the public and there appear to be no fatalities as a result of the crash

The police department and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and administered care to the victim still present at the scene. The victim spoke with police about the accident, and a search is ongoing for the other driver and vehicle involved.

Accident on Northeast Cutoff

The truck then crashed into a utility pole before finally coming to a stop. Upon arrival, emergency personnel examined the two individuals involved in the crash and determined their injuries to be non-life-threatening before they were transported to local hospitals. Both the truck driver and an area passenger are receiving care for their injuries and are expected to make a full recovery.

The crash is still being investigated by the Ware Police, and no further injuries or fatalities were reported. Normal traffic resumed shortly after the accident.

Hit-and-Run Accident on Thomas Street

Emergency responders arrived at the scene of the incident shortly after it was reported. Upon arrival, they examined and spoke with all those involved in the accident. Minor injuries were reported but no life-threatening injuries were disclosed. The damaged vehicles were quickly removed from the flow of traffic and regular conditions resumed shortly afterwards.

Massachusetts State Police recently responded to an accident on the local interstate. On May 22, emergency responders received notification at 12:10 p.m. of an incident on I-93 Northbound. The accident occurred near Zakim Bridge, and upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a truck that had caught fire as a result of the accident. Firefighters arrived and were able to control the blaze without incident.

The accident did cause traffic delays as the two right lanes of the interstate were closed and vehicles slowed as they passed through the area. Minor injuries were reported but there were no fatalities at the time of posting

On May 21, police were looking for an SUV that sideswiped a police car. Using serial numbers that were found on vehicle parts at the crash scene, they were able to track down the hit-and-run driver.

Officer Gage was in the cruiser at a traffic stop at 2 a.m. on Leominster-Shirley Road when his car was hit. He sustained minor injuries, and the driver sped away from the scene.
