Car accidents that happen on highways can be some of the most dire. These accidents can lead to serious injuries because they often occur while cars are traveling at high speeds. It is vital to remain vigilant whenever you are behind the wheel, but this is especially true when driving on busy highways.
On May 29, State Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident. The incident was reported to police around 4:00 p.m., and emergency responders arrived on the scene at Route 3 northbound at Exit 26 soon after. Upon arrival, emergency responders found that the accident had blocked the left lane of the road, and they directed traffic around the area.
First responders found that at least one person had sustained injuries in the crash, but the extent of the injuries is still being determined. The accident was cleared within the hour, and traffic resumed as normal.
