Chelmsford Crash Injures 2

Vehicle accidents can cause critical injuries that leave victims dealing with detrimental impacts for years to come. We must all remember the potentially devastating consequences of car accidents when we are driving. Remaining vigilant and aware is essential to prevent collisions.

On May 29, a Lowell man was critically injured when the Subaru he was driving crashed head-on with a pickup truck. This accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Westford Road in Chelmsford.

Chelmsford police arrived on the scene and performed CPR on the 39-year-old driver. He was then transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is not known at this time. The driver of the pick-up truck also suffered injuries, and he is expected to recover. Police are continuing to investigate this crash.

Accident on Madison Street

A car accident can happen on any road. Sometimes when driving in less congested areas it can be easy to get complacent, but we all must remember that accidents can happen no matter where we are driving. We all have a responsibility to remain aware of our surroundings whenever we are steering a vehicle.

The Worcester Police Department received a call about a two-vehicle accident on the 1st block of Madison Street. The accident occurred on May 29 around 4:00 p.m., and emergency responders arrived at the scene to assess the situation quickly afterwards. At the scene, they found that at least one person had suffered injuries, and they administered care to this individual. The extent of the injuries is still being determined at this time.

Statements from those involved and witnesses were taken, and the area was secured within the hour.

Accident on Route 495

A serious car accident can happen seemingly out of nowhere. These accidents can occur when we are least expecting them and are often caused by negligent driving. A car accident can devastate victim’s’ lives. We all have a responsibility when behind the wheel to follow traffic laws and remain cautious at all times.

The Massachusetts State Police received information about a two-vehicle accident in Andover on May 30. The accident occurred on Route 495 Southbound at Exit 41 around 5:30 in the morning. First responders arrived on the seen soon afterwards and found that at least one individual had been injured in the crash. Medical care was administered to this individual.

Emergency personnel closed two lanes of the highway while the scene was being cleared and investigated. Within an hour, all the lanes were reopened and traffic resumed as usual. The extent of the injuries in this accident is still being determined.

Rollover Accident on I-90

When driving, it is easy to get lost in thought and forget to pay attention to the road, but we must all do our part to prevent accidents by remaining aware of our surroundings. Car accidents can have tragic outcomes that impact people’s lives in harrowing ways.

On May 29, the Massachusetts State Police received information about a car accident. The call was received around 3:00 p.m., and emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly afterwards. Upon arrival, they found that one vehicle had rolled onto its side and that one other vehicle was involved in the crash.

The accident occurred on I-190 northbound prior to Exit 7 in Sterling. At least one individual sustained minor injuries and care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined. Emergency personnel closed the left lane and directed traffic around the area.

Hit-and-Run Crash on Massachusetts Avenue

A hit-and-run accident can be devastating for victims to deal with. These accidents can end up leaving victims behind to suffer and not receive the medical attention they need. All drivers need to remember to remain aware and do their part to prevent accidents. If they do cause an accident, they must take responsibility and remain at the scene.

Cambridge Police received information about a hit-and-run accident involving two motor vehicles on May 29. The incident was reported to police at approximately 11:00 p.m., and first responders were dispatched to the scene quickly after receiving this news. The accident occurred on Massachusetts Avenue.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel took a report from a Needham resident who remained at the scene. The other vehicle involved had fled after the accident occurred. Minor injuries were reported, and medical care was administered to the victim. The injuries do not appear to have been serious. The accident is still being investigated by police.

Hit-and-run drivers are acting particularly recklessly and leaving victims behind to suffer, and these accidents can be hard to deal with.

On May 29, Cambridge Police responded to a call they received about a hit-and-run accident. The accident was reported at approximately 3:00 p.m., and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. The incident occurred on Scott Street.

Once they arrived at the scene, emergency personnel found that at least one person had sustained injuries, and medical care was given to this individual at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined, and police are still investigating the crash.

Accident on I-395 South

A vehicle accident can happen suddenly, and the results of these accidents can be quite catastrophic at times. By remaining aware and following all traffic laws, drivers can do their part to keep roads safe for all who are on them. Negligent driving puts yourself and others at risk.

On May 29, State Police received information about a two-car accident. The incident was reported at approximately 4 in the afternoon, and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. The incident occurred on I-395 southbound between Exit 93 and Exit 92.

While assessing the scene, first responders found that at least one person had been injured in the collision, and medical care was administered at the scene. The extent of the injuries is still being determined. Fire and police authorities secured the area and directed traffic around the crash. Traffic was backed up to Attawaugan Crossing, but the crash was cleared within a couple of hours.

Plymouth House Fire Injures One

Fires can happen suddenly and be very dangerous. A fire is a raging force of nature that can cause damage to all things in it path. Since this is the case, we must all do what we can to keep fires from happening. Negligent actions such as not keeping fire extinguishers in the house can lead to serious injuries.

On May 29, emergency responders were alerted to a fire that had broken out at a home in Plymouth. Fire crews receive news of the blaze at approximately 6 in the morning, and they arrived on this scene shortly afterwards. The fire occurred at a home on Bourne Road.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the flames had fully engulfed the home. The homeowner was injured in the fire and was transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is still being determined, and they remain in the hospital. This incident is still being investigated.

MBTA Commuter Rail Strikes and Kills Pedestrian

Train accidents can be extremely devastating and can even cause fatalities. When trains hit other vehicles or pedestrians, the impacts can be quite severe as trains are large and often traveling at high speeds. People near train tracks must remember to remain vigilant at all times, and conductors must also remain aware.

On May 29, an MBTA Commuter Rail accident involving a pedestrian lead to one fatality. Transit police received information about the accident around 3:30 p.m. and arrived at the scene shortly afterwards.

At around 4 p.m., they announced that a person had died after being struck on the trucks. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Police in Wellesley are working with transit police to investigate that incident which occurred near the intersection of Central Street and Weston Road. The cause of the crash is still unknown.

Accident near Beech Street

Pedestrian accidents can be some of the most severe accidents that occur on roads. Pedestrians are not protected by a vehicle, and they do not have any protective gear on. Impact with a vehicle can cause severe injuries that can have negative consequences. Drivers must follow traffic laws and remember to look out for pedestrians.

On May 29, Cambridge Police received information about a vehicle crash that involved a hit-and-run driver. The accident was reported around 6 in the evening, and first responders arrived on the scene quickly afterwards.

Upon arrival at the scene on Massachusetts Avenue near Beech Street, they found that a female pedestrian had been hit by a driver who had the fled the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police took statements from witnesses, and the investigation is still ongoing.
