Victim Identified in Mattapan Shooting

At around 11 in the morning on Tuesday, police responded to a call about a person shot on 50 Evelyn Street in Mattapan. The victim has been identified as Garfield Thomas, 33. He suffered from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

Man Stabbed in Neck in Brockton

A man was taken to the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in the neck at an apartment complex in Brockton. This occurred on Tuesday evening. Police arrived at the Davis Commons Apartment at around 6:30 in the evening.

The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center and one person was in custody after the incident.

Boston police say a man has died after a shooting that happened in Mattapan on Tuesday morning.

This incident occurred at around 10:40 in the morning in a house on Evelyn Street. The victim, a male in his 30’s, was taken to Boston Medical Center and pronounced dead there.
