Serious Injury Crash Reported in Boston

A crash involving serious injuries has been reported within the Boston city limits on Thursday. The crash happened just before 10:00 pm on Enneking Road at Turtle Pond Parkway. This is located in the southwest portion of the city. A team of officers from the Boston Police Department, along with medical personnel were radioed to the scene of the collision. Once there, they encountered a multi vehicle crash with extensive damage to vehicles and serious injuries to those involved in the crash. We do not have information at this time as to whether the injuries incurred were life-threatening.

The Boston police are still in the process of conducting a crash analysis in order to determine exactly how this serious accident occurred. They are observing the scene and putting together a report with their conclusions regarding the accident. 3 Car Crash With Injuries in Wrentham

A three car crash involving injuries happened Thursday evening in Wrentham, Massachusetts at approximately 10:00 pm. The crash occurred on Route 495 at Exit 1-A. At the time of the incident, three vehicles were traveling in close proximity to each other through a work zone. The road was already narrowed due to the ongoing construction in the area. One driver crashed into the other setting off a chain reaction involving the third driver.

Police responded to the scene. As could be expected, traffic was a nightmare through the area, which had already experienced delays due to construction. The injured were treated by medical technicians on scene. No indication of whether the injuries are life-threatening at this time. Police have not released an official cause of the collision or the names of drivers involved.

Boston Police Officers Injured By Suspect

Several Boston Police Officers were injured, one seriously, when they tried to arrest a suspect on Wednesday evening. Officers responded to a call from EMTs who were trying to transport the man to a nearby hospital under a court order, but he had become uncooperative. When they arrived on scene, police were met by a 22 year old man. The man quickly became combative with police as they tried to handcuff. He punched, kicked and bit the officers before removing a screwdriver and attempting to stab them.

Police were eventually able to subdue the man, however, he bit an officer in the head during the struggle. Before the fight ended, he also kicked another officer in the chest and pulled out a second screwdriver. Boston Police commissioner Williams Evans commended the work of the officers and applauded their restraint in the use of force.

All officer were taken to a nearby hospital. The officer with serious injuries is expected to be ok, but will take some time to recover. The suspect was arrested on a variety of assault-related charges.

Motorcylist in Fatal Chelmsford Crash Identified

A motorcyclist who died in a Tuesday accident in Chelmsford has been identified. Police have identified the victim as 21 year old Gerald Barnes, II of Lowell, Massachusetts. Barnes was involved in a collision with an SUV Tuesday night in Chelmsford. Police responded to the scene of the accident and transported Barnes to the hospital with critical injuries. He died on Wednesday.

The SUV driver remained on scene with police and cooperated with the crash investigation. The Chelmsford Police Department is still investigating the crash along with the Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team. There is no word at this time on when the investigation is expected to conclude or if charges will be filed. The driver has not been identified by authorities.

Accident with Injuries Reported in Worcester

Worcester Police were called to the scene of multiple injury accidents on Wednesday evening, including one that took place in the 100 block of Belmont Street. The accident took place at around 11:00 pm. Police on scene reported that more than one car was involved in this accident. Unfortunately, injuries were also associated with the crash, although the extent of injuries is not known at this time.

Worcester Police Respond to Accident with Injuries

A multi vehicle crash with injuries was reported to Worcester police on Wednesday night. The call came in to the department around 9:00 pm. The caller advised that a car accident with injuries had just occurred in the 200 block of Lincoln Street.

Worcester police responded to the accident scene immediately after receiving the call. Officers were able to locate the injured victim and treatment was given. The cause of this crash remains under investigation by the department. Officers have not provided information concerning the severity or extent of injuries. Traffic at the crash scene was slowed momentarily as officers worked to clear the roadway. Traffic was resumed to normal flow in the area after a brief delay.

Injury Crash Reported in Dedham

A midday crash with injuries occurred in Dedham, Massachusetts on Thursday. The crash happened just before noon at the on-ramp to Dedham on Route 135. Multiple vehicles are involved in this crash and officers on scene are reporting that injuries have been sustained in the crash.

Traffic is now backed up extensively around the scene of the collision. Police and emergency personnel are on scene tending to the crash and attempting to clear the roadway. At this time, motorists should expect delays through the affected area. Police officers in Boston have a thankless job. They are busy each day responding to hundreds of calls for assistance all across our city, ranging from violent crimes, to theft, to citizen welfare and also car accidents. Each day, officers see things that most people would never see in their daily lives, including the unfortunate job of having to encounter injury accidents.

One such injury accident occurred on Wednesday morning at Marginal Road in Boston. Officer William Chen got to the scene of a crash at that location just before 10:00 am. Officer Chen noted that a crash involving injuries had just occurred in the area. All involved in the crash remained on scene and complied with the subsequent police investigation. The injured received medical treatment as officers investigated the crash. There is no word on the extent of injuries suffered or the cause of the crash. George Street Accident Leads to Injuries

Boston police responded to a handful of injury accidents involving motor vehicles on Wednesday evening. One of those accidents took place on George Street in the Dudley Square neighborhood and just west of I-93. This accident happened at 3:30 in the afternoon. Officers were dispatched to the site as soon as the call came in.

Officer Michael Ennis of the BPD was the investigating officer for this crash. Officer Ennis reports that there were injuries suffered in the accident. However, at this time, we do not have any information regarding the nature of the injuries. The accident scene remained blocked off for a period of time as officers completed their investigation and cleared the area for the resumption of vehicle traffic. Serious Injury Accident Thursday Morning in Plymouth

Police in Plymouth, Massachusetts are on the scene of an accident involving serious injuries Thursday morning. The accident took place around 7:00 am on Route 3 at Exit 5, near Long Pond Road. Police report that the accident occurred in the breakdown lanes of the highway.

At this time, emergency medical personnel are on the scene of the accident. The motorists involved appear to have sustained serious injuries. There is no word on whether the injuries are life-threatening. There are heavy delays approaching the accident scene and motorists are advised to either avoid the area or be prepared for an extensive back up for a considerable distance leading to the crash site.
