Salem, MA – Two Car Accident Injures One

Salem, MA (June 27, 2018) – A two car accident in Salem, Massachusetts on Tuesday resulted in injuries to at least one driver. The accident happened at 6:05 am on Interstate 95, near exit 47. Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene and began investigating the crash.

When police arrived, they discovered a two car crash involving a 2015 Nissan and a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup. The Nissan driver has been identified as a 24 year old from Clinton and the Ford F-150 driver is identified as a 35 year old man from Peabody. State police have not said how the accident occurred, but at least one vehicle ended up off the roadway and in the woods. One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No word at this time on the identity of the drivers or whether charges will be filed. Norwood, MA – Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck

Norwood, MA (June 27, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck Tuesday while walking along the road in Norwood, Massachusetts. Norwood police responded to a call for a pedestrian accident Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, they located a victim in the roadway suffering from injuries. After further investigation, police determined that the victim had be struck by a passing vehicle. Along with police, EMS also responded to the crash. The pedestrian suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Boston for treatment.

The Norwood police are actively investigating this crash. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the police investigation. There is no word yet on the cause of the crash or if police expect to charge the driver. The injured pedestrian was not immediately identified.

Fall River, MA – Two Car Crash Causes Injuries

Fall River, MA (June 27, 2018) – A two car collision occurring in Fall River, Massachusetts Tuesday night sent at least two people to the hospital with injuries. Fall River police responded to a report of an accident at the corner of Robeson and Hood Streets on Tuesday evening. At least one of the cars involved in the collision was a Honda Civic. The crash took place at an intersection controlled by a stop sign, but police have not definitively stated whether either driver failed to stop or yield for the other. No cause of the collision has been established.

The Fall River police along with Fall River EMS responded quickly to the crash scene. Two injured victims were treated and then taken to the hospital via ambulance. The injuries were serious but not life-threatening. This accident remains under further investigation. No word on whether charges will be issued for either driver as a result of the crash.

Fairhaven, MA – Three Seriously Injured in Crash

Fairhaven, MA (June 27, 2018) – A serious multi vehicle collision occurred in Fairhaven, Massachusetts on Tuesday. The crash took place along Route 2, near Bridge Street around just before 1:00 pm. At that time, a motorist pulling a boat trailer pulled over on the side of the road to fix his trailer hitch. Simultaneously, another motorist made an evasive maneuver to get around traffic on the same stretch of road. However, the motorist failed to see the man who was off the roadway and struck the back of the trailer, pushing it directly into the man. A minivan was also involved in the collision and was forced down an embankment off the shoulder of the roadway.

Serious injuries were reported in the crash. One person was airlifted to Boston hospital. The other two victims suffered minor injuries and were transported to two separate local hospitals. There is no word on whether the airlifted victim has life-threatening injuries. Police did not immediately identify the drivers or determine whether any charges would be issued. Route 240 was closed for several hours while the investigation remained ongoing.

Boxford, MA – Woman that Crashed into Tree Identified

Boxford, MA (June 27, 2018) – A scary collision occurred Monday in Boxford, Massachusetts. We previously reported to you the story of a woman traveling with her two children along a two lane road in Boxford. The woman’s car left the roadway to the right and struck a tree, resulting in the children being injured. Now, police have identified the woman and also issued charges against her for her part in the crash.

The woman is identified by police as Kimberly Desrochers. Desroschers was charged with OUI – drugs as well as assault and battery against the children in her car. Police now believe that Desroschers was impaired and that her impairment caused her to lose control of the car and crash into a tree. This is Descroschers second OUI charge. A boy who was a passenger in Desroschers’s vehicle remains in the hospital with a head injury. The injury is described as serious but there is no update on his condition at this time.

Chelmsford, MA – Motorcyclist Killed on I-495 Identified

Chelmsford, MA (June 27, 2018) – Police in Chelmsford have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-495 Monday. David Mains, a fire captain in Raymond, Maine has been named by authorities as the man who lost his life. Police now believe that Mains was traveling on 495 in a 2007 Yamaha Motorcycle when he struck the back of a 2016 Mercedes and was ejected from the bike. The Mercedes had slowed down because of congested traffic.

Mains’ wife was also on the motorcycle with him at the time of the crash. She suffered serious injuries and remains in the hospital. There is no word at this time on whether the other driver will face charges and police have not released their identity pending further investigation. Truro, MA – Head On Crash Injures Two

Truro, MA (June 27, 2018) – A two vehicle crash in Truro, Massachusetts sent two people to the hospital with injuries on Tuesday afternoon. The crash took place at Shore Road and Standish Way and involved a Honda Accord and a Range Rover. It appears that the two vehicles collided head on with one another, however, it is not known which driver was responsible for the collision. Both drivers were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries. Truro police are investigating the accident. Along with police, both EMS and fire units responded to the scene to assist with providing medical treatment and clearing away the accident. Police have not stated whether they expect to issue any charges as a result of this crash.

Multiple vehicles were involved in this crash. Police in Needham responded to the scene and assessed the injuries to those involved. Medical personnel were summoned to the accident scene to provide care to the injured. There is no word on the condition of the victims. Police did not immediately identify the drivers.

Marstons Mills, MA – Two Seriously Injured in Crash

Marstons Mills, MA (June 26, 2018) – A crash in Marstons Mills, Massachusetts sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries this morning. Police were called to the intersection Santuit-Newton Road and School Street upon report of a two vehicle accident in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered two badly damaged vehicles in the roadway. Nearby residents came from their houses to help free the trapped drivers.

Rescue workers took over at the accident scene and administered emergency medical treatment to both drivers. Both were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries. It is not known if the injuries are life-threatening. Police have not released complete details surrounding the crash, but they have said that both vehicles collided with each other at a high rate of speed.
