On June 12, a car accident in Plymouth injured multiple people and shut down part of the road. Police were called to the incident which occurred on Route 3A on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, police investigation revealed that one of the two cars involved had crossed the yellow line and hit the other vehicle head-on. Both cars showed major damage to their front ends, and crews worked to clean up the road and two the cars away.
First responders found that three people were injured in the accident, and they were all transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals. Their injuries were reported to be serious. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by police. The accident has since been cleared.
