Hit and Run Accidents
Hit and run accidents are very serious and can be catastrophic. A driver leaving the scene shows disregard for the innocent victims that they have injured. In this case, it appears as though police have not yet located the responsible driver but are continuing to thoroughly investigate the situation.
If you have been involved in a hit and run case, you could be entitled to compensation. A hit and run accident poses special problems that require the experience of a good personal injury attorney. Even if you never locate the other driver, there may be insurance coverage available to compensate you for your injuries and your pain and suffering stemming from the accident. However, you should never try to handle these cases alone. You are already frustrated enough that you have been victimized once. Do not compound your mistake by mishandling your personal injury case in the aftermath of the crash.
