On June 11, the Beverly Police Department received news of a motor vehicle accident with injury after a 911 caller reported the incident. The accident occurred on Main Street at Route 1 and was reported to police around 8 in the evening.
Internal reports indicated that the accident involved two vehicles, and emergency authorities were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, police directed traffic around the area. Some of the individuals involved were injured, and emergency medical care was given to them at the scene. The extent of their injuries is still being determined. However, no fatalities were reported.
