Vehicle accidents can happen suddenly, and accidents that happen on highways can be some of the most severe. Vehicles tend to be going at high speeds on these roads which means collision can do a great deal of damage. All drivers must do their part to keep highways safe by following the rule of the road at all times.
On June 6, State Police received information about a car accident that occurred at 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of Henderson and Highway 32. First responders were dispatched to the scene and secured the area.
Upon arrival, they found that a 1997 Ford Thunderbird being driven by Laura Gurley caused the accident as she attempted to make a left turn into a local bank parking lot and missed the entrance. The driver of the other vehicle was injured in the collision, but the extent of their injuries is still under review. The scene was cleared within the hour.
Injuries and Car Accidents
While the injuries sustained in this accident appear to not have been life-threatening, this is not always the case. Car accidents can sometimes be quite severe, and they can leave victims with injuries that impact their lives for many years to come. Victims have the right to seek recovery and assistance for their injury so they can focus on healing.
